The collection

The Moderna Museet displays a rich array of artwork, from paintings by Picasso and Dali to unconventional furniture and abstract structures. Given the museum's temporary exhibitions, the collection continuously rotates.

Pioneering artists like Picasso, Dalí, Andy Warhol, Francesca Woodman, Man Ray, and Duchamp, among numerous others, have significantly contributed to the Museum of Modern Art. Film-worthy heists

The Stockholm Museum of Modern Art faced two significant heists, one in 1987 and the other in 1993. The latter incident involved the theft of six Picasso paintings and two Braque paintings, valued at 60 million euros. The thieves infiltrated through a ceiling hole, inspiring the film "Rififi."
