 Stockholm is a perfect place for shopping. There is a great variety of shops, department stores and shopping malls. One of everybody’s favorite areas to shop is the old town of Stockholm – Gamla Stan.

Such big department stores as NK Coast and Gallerian are located on the main shopping street called Hamngatan. Another shopping district one should not miss is SOFO or "South of Folkungagatan". It is a pretty new one and is located in Södermalm district. It occupies the streets Kokgatan, Skånegatan, Bondegatan and Götgatan. Here you will see a lot of hipsters and funk oriented youth. Every last Thursday of the each month there is a SOFO night. All the shops offer refreshments to clients and offer free entertainment. All the shops are open till 9 o’clock in the evening and the majority of them provide live music. As you can see shopping in Stockholm is more than just wondering among numerous shops.
