To many people, the dozens and dozens of museums in Stockholm are what this historical and cultural city is all about. In fact, Stockholm is known as one of the cities in the world with the most museums. And with about 90 or so major museums in Stockholm, that comes as no surprise. To most people however, art and history lovers alike, the piece de resistance of all Stockholm museums would undoubtedly be the National Museum of Fine Arts.
The normal price for entrance at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Stockholm, Sweden is around 80 SEK, but this price may be lowered to around 60 SEK if you are a student, a senior citizen or part of a group comprised of atleast fifteen people. The first floor of the National Museum of Fine Arts however, is available for viewing for anyone without any need to pay an admission fee.
What’s more, children and teenagers 18 years old and below are free to enter the National Museum of Fine Arts without paying admission fees. Thus, the museum can help enrich the minds and imaginations of the youth through the artistic collections housed within them. And because of the low entrance rates that they require, the National Museum of Fine Arts of Stockholm makes a wonderful family destination especially for tourists and vacationers.
