Trendy, fashionable and cultured. That in a nutshell can be used to describe the modern city of Stockholm, Sweden. And if some of you do not know, the rich culture and fashion forward outlook of Stockholm is not limited on clothing alone, but it in fact extends to other areas of city life including dining and nightlife. One such mecca of trendy, delectable cuisines in Stockholm is known as Marten Trotzig.
Marten Trotzig is a first class restaurant with relaxed and elegant atmosphere in the very heart of the Old Town. It is a perfect place for both business and romantic dinners. The menu is modern and traditional dominated by meat and fish.
It is one of those restaurants with great interior and design. You will certainly feel as if you just stepped back in the mediaeval times. There is also a nice garden where you may enjoy a glass of wine. Among the dishes that you should try in Marten Trotzig are Haddock with a Potato Gratin, salmon in a white wine sauce served with Potatoes and Spinach and Lobster soup served with Salmon tartare and the right amount of seasoning. Instead of dessert you can choose a cheese plate and try a great variety of delicious local cheeses.
Besides its great food and interior, Marten Trotzig also boasts of a fantastic Banquet room and arranges events for wedding dinners, birthday parties and company events. All in all it is a nice place with delicious food and wonderful service. But be prepared that the place is pretty expensive, but it is definitely worth it.
